Emergency Services

At Falck we provide our clients with comprehensive and professional Emergency Response Teams as well as fully equipped industrial facility Fire Brigades. Our Emergency Response Teams and Fire Brigades have been providing 24 / 7 / 365 coverage to oil and gas and petrochemical facilities; automotive; steel making and manufacturing plants; defence, high security and hospital facilities for over 100 years.

For our clients that need professional support personnel to be embedded within their own company organisational structures, at Falck, our fully trained and highly experienced Emergency Services Officers and Coordinators are an outstanding addition to any Health and Safety Department. We focus our team’s response capability to ensure that we meet the requirements of the Safety Case, or match the identified or likely Major Accident Events (MAE), and in this way provide services ranging from support to proactive prevention.

We have expertise across a wide range of operational disciplines and experience operating in a diverse range of geographic locations. Our experience covers exploration, construction and operations on resource and major utility projects as well as during shutdowns and other critical events both onshore and offshore.

On deployment of our Emergency Response Teams or Fire Brigades we will set up our operations using our Falck procedures, guidelines and on-line Brigade management tools and ensure that all of our systems are working effectively and in accordance with the relevant standards and regulations. Alternatively, if we are embedding our personnel within our clients own organisational structure then we will integrate into our client’s existing site infrastructure, procedures and systems. In those cases where we arrive on a greenfield site with no existing support infrastructure, our emergency services sta  are supported by the full weight and resources of Falck. While maintaining our site-based services, our Emergency Services and Fire Brigade personnel report through their onsite team leaders to the Falck Manager.

As an RTO, Falck maintains and upgrades the skills of our emergency services personnel through the provision of either on-site training or off-site training in our Fire and Emergency Response Training Base. Additionally, we can deliver site-based training to our client’s personnel.
